Beauty Consultation:
Beauty as a quantifiable and measurable attribute places upon the trained and educated viewer a great deal of responsibility to tolerate defect. Thus, beauty is in the eye of the beholder only so far as the beholder tolerates defect. It is indeed subjective but in relation to one's knowledge and understanding.
As an aesthetic physician, beauty isn't about an isolated feature or quality (skin, weight, height, hair color, whatever). A Persian carpet may be beautiful, and a bowl of ripe apples also beautiful, although they have no particular feature in common. Something is beautiful if its features harmonize and it strikes me as fulfilling its inner potential.
Physical attractiveness can have a significant effect on how people are judged, in terms of employment or social opportunities, friendship, sexual behavior, and marriage. In many cases, humans attribute positive characteristics, such as intelligence and honesty, to attractive people without consciously realizing it. Certain aspects of such attribution behavior have been scientifically documented.
Despite significant variation, there nonetheless exists a tremendous degree of agreement among cultures as to what is perceived as attractive when it is associated with human health. One of the more important properties is symmetry because the lack of it usually implies deformity. Similarly, healthier looking skin is universally associated with attractiveness
